Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ChronoAether ("we", "us") handles information in connection with this website and with the private software tool "ChronoAether Publisher" (the "App").

1. Who uses the App

The App is operated only by ChronoAether to manage ChronoAether's own YouTube channel and Facebook Page. It is not a service for the general public. The only Google account that authorizes the App is the ChronoAether channel account.

2. Information the App accesses

• Authorization tokens issued by Google (YouTube) and Meta (Facebook) for the ChronoAether accounts. They are stored on a private server, readable only by the operator, and are used solely to publish videos and manage comments on those accounts.
• YouTube and Facebook content of ChronoAether: the videos we upload and the comments that viewers post publicly on them. The App reads comments on our own videos so that we can reply.

3. How information is used

• To upload ChronoAether's videos and captions to our channel and Page.
• To read public comments on our videos and post replies. The text of a comment may be sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) in order to draft a reply; it is not used for advertising or sold.
• We keep a short log of replies we sent (comment text, reply, time) on our private server to avoid replying twice and to review quality.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

The App's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the YouTube scopes needed to upload videos and manage comments on our own channel (youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl).

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not share Google user data with third parties, except the service providers strictly needed to operate the App (the AI service in section 3 and the hosting provider of our server), and when required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

Authorization tokens are kept for as long as the App is in use and are deleted when we stop using it. You can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or in Facebook's Business Integrations settings. Reply logs are kept for up to 12 months. To ask us to delete a comment-related record about you, email us at the address below.

7. Visitors of this website

This website is a static information page. It does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server may keep standard technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, for a limited time.

8. Children

Our content is general science education. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
